FAQ
Common questions about BoothZen
What happens after the 14-day Pro trial?
You land on Free. Nothing is deleted; you keep your bookings, contracts and customers, with Free's limits applied. Choose a plan any time from Account and Billing.
What counts towards the 10 bookings on Free?
Upcoming ones. Free holds up to 10 bookings that are still to come. Once an event has happened it stops counting, so you can take a new booking in its place.
Can I change plan later?
Any time, from Account and Billing in your workspace. Upgrades apply straight away; downgrades apply at the end of the month you have paid for.
Do you charge per booking or take a cut of payments?
No. Deposits and balances go straight to your own Stripe, PayPal or bank account. We charge for the plan and nothing per booking. Card fees are charged by your gateway.
Which currencies can I be billed in?
Pounds, US dollars, Australian dollars and euros. This page is priced and billed in pounds; the prices for the other three are on our US, Australian and European pricing pages.
Is there an annual plan?
Not yet. Every plan is monthly and you can cancel any time from the billing portal.
What do I need to take payments?
Your own Stripe or PayPal account, or bank details for transfers. Connect them once in Settings and every booking page and invoice uses them.
What happens if a card payment is disputed?
If a chargeback against your subscription is lost, your workspace moves to Free until it is settled, and reactivating means paying the disputed amount, plus a £15 fee that covers the card network's dispute charge.
What does support include?
Every plan: Email, replies within two working days. Pro and Enterprise: Replies within four working hours, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm UK time.
What is a unit in BoothZen?
A unit is one physical booth, mirror or backdrop you hire out, such as a magic mirror, an enclosed booth or a 360 rig. Each unit has its own calendar, so a booking on one does not block another.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Pro and above. Point a domain you own at your workspace and customers book on it directly. Your booking pages, contracts and confirmation emails all use it.
Where is my data stored?
In a UK data centre, with nightly backups. Bookings, contracts and customer details never leave it except to send you email or process a payment you have connected.
Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes. We are a data processor for the customer details you collect. Our data processing agreement is on the DPA page, linked in the footer, and we delete data on request.
How do I cancel?
From Account and Billing, any time. Cancelling moves you to Free at the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing is deleted.
Who supports me if something goes wrong?
We do, by email, on every plan. Pro and Enterprise get priority replies within four working hours, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm UK time.
