Security

How we look after your data

Every workspace has its own database and its own database user. This page covers where your data is stored, how it is protected, and how to report a problem.

Data location

A UK data centre

Your data is stored in a UK data centre.

In transit

TLS everywhere

Every connection to BoothZen, on every subdomain, runs over TLS.

Backups

Nightly, encrypted, kept 30 days

Backups run nightly, are encrypted, and are retained for 30 days.

Isolation

Per-workspace database and user

Each workspace has its own database and its own database user, so one operator's data cannot be queried from another operator's workspace.

Staff access

Audited, short-lived sign-in

Our staff can only get into a workspace through an audited, short-lived sign-in. We do not use shared passwords.
